Sprinkler Inspection FAQ

How often do fire sprinklers need to be inspected in Louisiana?

NFPA 25, adopted by the Louisiana State Fire Marshal, calls for quarterly inspections, annual testing, and 5-year internal pipe and FDC checks. We schedule all of them for properties in Louisiana and surrounding parishes so nothing lapses.

What happens if my sprinkler system fails inspection in Louisiana?

You get a written deficiency report with a repair quote. Our technicians can usually correct common issues — gauges, heads, valves, signage — on a follow-up visit, then re-tag the system.

Do dry-pipe systems need extra testing?

Yes. Dry-pipe valves require an annual trip test and periodic full-flow trip tests, plus low-point drain checks before cold weather.

Are your sprinkler inspection technicians licensed?

All contractors and individuals utilized in the BlazeFide network / InspectBlaze LLC are licensed by the Louisiana State Fire Marshal and are NICET-certified technicians.
